Newspaper Delivery Driver to bulk retail locations (Within Tompkins County)
Excellent opportunity for student, retired person or side hustle. Tompkins Weekly has multiple routes that are available on Wednesday mornings, every week. Pickup bundled newspapers of 50 each, typically a total of 30 to 40 bundles delivered each week that you load into your vehicle. Make up to $100 per day, approximate route times vary, and most fall within a 3-4 hour period. One is Lansing, Groton and Dryden based, the other is downtown Ithaca, South Hill and Newfield. We require tracking the returns and invoicing us once per month, you will be paid the first Wednesday of the following month. This is an independent contractor role that requires a moderate level of responsibility. Preferred pickup time is Wednesday approximately 9:15-45 am, however there is room for some flexibility in delivery time, however Wednesdays are a must. Email or text to apply or ask questions.
