The Cherry Arts Inc., Ithacas multidisciplinary arts company, seeks a flexible, organized, detail-oriented General Manager (GM) to manage operations. This is a full time position. The person will work under the direction of the Cherrys Artistic Director (AD) and alongside the Marketing Manager (MM) in administering the flexible, multi-disciplinary venue The Cherry Artspace; providing support to the Cherry Artists Collective (CAC), and in managing the Cherry Arts team of interns, work/study students and part time employees. Though the GM role has broad responsibilities, in this growing organization a primary duty will be to work with AD to identify areas for new hiring. As a support to the AD the individual will play an integral role in the strategic planning, development and growth of the company through patron/donor development and support, board relations and by increasing artistic partnerships and rentals.
