We a looking to fulfill a position for a general laborer for our screw painting company. We are a small family owned and operated company, in a fast paced working environment. This position is starting as a general labor. Looking for someone who is motivated, hardworking, and can work in a team environment. There is physical labor involved and would need to be able to carry and lift 40-60 LBS boxes and screens. Someone with forklift training would be ideal but not a requirement.
Description of Work:
Shaking Screws – Taking a box of screws and put them on the table to be shaken into screens, and transferred into racks to be ready to be sent to the paint booth.
Painting – Taking the screens off the racks putting them into the paint booth, and coating every side to cover every inch of the screw.
Packaging – is the Process after the paint has been cured, that we package into smaller boxes to make it easier for our customers to sell in smaller quantities.
Receiving of product – Receiving good from delivery drivers when being dropped off, and taking paperwork to the administration team for purchase orders to be written up.
Getting Orders ready to ship – After an order has been painted and put back into boxes we will need to either get all the boxes together on the rack, or create a skid with the full order to be ready to ship back to the customer.
Hand Placing – Is something that we offer to customers that screws or products don’t work on the shaker, and have to be hand placed into screens to get ready for paint.
General House keeping/ Cleaning – Keeping neat and tidy work areas, and doing a weekly cleanup of the warehouse.
The Ideal candidate would be someone who is a fast learner, and the ability to think of their feet, and is able to accomplish daily and weekly goals. Able to work in a fast paced environment both independently and with the team.
What We Have to Offer:
Fulltime Position – Monday – Friday 7am – 3:30pm
