In this role, you will oversee communication between drivers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure freight is loaded, transported, and delivered on time — every time. Your leadership will directly impact delivery success, driver productivity, and customer satisfaction.Schedule & Compensation$27.00/hourTuesday – Saturday | 2:00 AM – 10:30 AM (Onsite)Location: Rock Tavern, NYKey ResponsibilitiesSupervise and manage freight loadingand ensure accurate, timely dispatching and delivery.Oversee daily fleet activity, ensuring DOT compliance, safe operations, and optimal route planning.Monitor real-time driver locations viaMcLeod andSamsara to ensure operational flow.Accept and manage EDI loads; ensure all steps from load acceptance to completion are documented.Troubleshoot delivery or pick-up issues and act as the primary point of contact for drivers and vendors.Collaborate with account managers, customers, and freight partners to meet time-sensitive demands.Track performance metrics and ensure effective communication across departments.Upload and manage documentation related to load delivery and dispatching in a timely manner.Qualifications & SkillsMinimum 2 years’ experience in transportation dispatching or fleet management preferred.Proven ability tosupervise loads and driver performance independently.Working knowledge ofDOT and OSHA regulations a plus.Strong multitasking skills and ability to remain composed under pressure.Proficiency with dispatch software systems (e.g.,McLeod, Samsara).Effective communicator with strong customer service orientation.Analytical mindset and decision-making capabilities to solve operational challenges.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.If you're a dependable, solutions-focused dispatcher ready to lead freight coordination and keep our trucks moving —apply now to join the TCI Logistics team.
