Company seeks an experienced and responsible 26 ft box truck driver for consistent weekend work Saturday and Sunday.
License must be SQUEAKY clean and driver must have a medical card.
The deliveries are local to the Hudson Valley area. Driver is home every night. Shift starts at 12:00pm and ends around 10:00pm.
Pay is $255 per day.
Driver will need clean Motor Vehicle Record and updated medical card.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a box truck to transport goods to customers
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
- Load and unload cargo using lift gate/sometimes dock
- Verify the ACCURACY of delivery orders and obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns in a professional manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Experience driving commercial vehicles, such as vans or box trucks, preferred
- Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations
- Excellent time management skills to ensure on-time deliveries
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo
- Good communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
