We are looking for a skilled Painter for interior and exterior residential projects. Must be comfortable at various heights while observing all safety measures. Must be reliable and able to work independently and as part of a team. Experience in painting with various tools including sprayers is a plus. We specialize in high-end renovations in and around Dutchess County requiring high-quality painting work.
Responsibilities
-Make on-site preparations such as building scaffolding, covering fixtures, etc.
-Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, using sandpaper, etc.
-Fix cracks and holes with appropriate material (e.g. tape and compound)
-Paint surfaces with various tools (e.g. brushes, rollers, paint sprayer)
-Apply stain and other finishes
Skills
-Proven experience as a painter
-Aptitude in using appropriate tools (brushes, caulking guns, etc.)
-Effective time management
-Manual dexterity with excellent balance to work on scaffolding, ladders, etc.
-Conscientious with great attention to detail
