Job Title: Part-time Event Staff
Compensation: Starting at $25 per hour, commensurate with experience and opportunities to earn more with added responsibilities.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Part-time Event Staff. The primary responsibility of this role is to support in executing successful events in the Hudson Valley and upstate New York. The ideal candidate must be flexible, reliable, and have excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the setup, execution, and teardown of events.
Greet and assist guests, answer questions, and provide excellent customer service.
Assist with administrative tasks.
Maintain event areas, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
Assist with event coordination and planning, as needed.
Help manage event logistics, such as equipment rentals, vendor coordination, and transportation.
Work with the events team to troubleshoot issues that arise during events.
Requirements:
Must be 21 years of age or older to serve alcohol
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
This is a part-time position with a variable schedule, depending on the events schedule. The ideal candidate should be available to work 20-40 hours per month, primarily on weekends and occasional weekdays. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
