Intrigue Music is seeking a marketing/promotion person to work with our artist management, label, and music publishing world. The position includes:
1. Working on a day to day basis with artists
2. Pitching songs to music supervisors for use in tv/film
3. Uploading the metadata for digital distribution
4. Marketing & digital pr of artists and label releases
5. Working/proper registrations with with PRO's
6. Maintaining and communicating with our mailing list
7. Maintain all social media & web sites
8. A&R music publishing/label by going to shows
9. Obtaining shows for management clients
Your skills:
1. Web site design and maintenance using square space
2. Keeping social media posts timely
3. Metadata and upload ability
4. A sense of urgency
5. A solid sense of humor
6. Creativity and a love of music
7. Detail oriented with solid follow through
8. Personable and sociable
Bottom line is you must be comfortable selling through our artists' music to various sources. Marketing and promotions is the music world is all about sales.
We have been in business for over 20 years as a small, boutique management company and music publisher. We downsized in 2010 but are growing the music part of our world again.
Experience? 5 years of work in the industry and sales are required.
Please sell us on why you are the right person for us. This will start as a part time position of 20 hours a week and grow to full time in the next six moths.
