C&H Salvage Corp one of the busiest most modern Auto salvage facility's in New York is looking for a Quality control ,inventory assistant . This job covers many areas with room for advancement . You must be neat and organized, reliable and able to multitask many things at one time . You must be able to work 40 hours a week from 8 to 5 Monday through Friday with a one hour lunch . NO WEEKENDS . You also must have a clean drivers license . Computer , bar scanning and some automotive experience or knowledge is a must ,You must be able to use a fork lift and lift at least 50 pounds . Job duties will be and not limited to the following . Perform all Q/C duties. Inspection of all parts sold , Prepping all parts sold for delivery and shipping , scanning and tagging all parts sold . Putting returns back in stock in ware house and back the vehicles they came from .Taking care of our used tire area . packaging and marking and putting used tires into stock . keeping the tire room neat and organized every day , sweeping and cleaning all areas of the 3 warehouses on a regular basis . bar scanning and updating inventory on shelves .Loading parts for customers , showing parts to customers in warehouse and on vehicles in the yard .Prepare small to large parts for UPS and freight including computer needs for this. you may be asked to fill in to do deliveries if another driver is off or extra parts need to go out .
