Authentic Italian kitchen creating energy and experience through real food is seeking Cooks that love food, community and service.
The position is responsible for prepping, cooking and plating seasonal, balanced, delicious food for a fast casual cafe and market. Day time shift only.
Essential Duties:
-Review daily menu items and specials, create prep list
-Prepare ingredients (chopping vegetables, slicing, make sauces, etc.)
-Ensure all stations are stocked with supplies before and after service
-Cook breakfast and lunch items to order following recipes and presentation standards
-Operate kitchen equipment (grill, oven, fryer, etc.) safely and efficiently
-Assemble dishes quickly while maintaining quality and consistency
-Support front-of-house with food orders when volume is high
-Label, date, and store all food items properly
-Monitor inventory and notify management when supplies are low
-Minimize food waste through portion control and proper storage
-Keep prep and cook areas clean and organized throughout the shift
-Wash, sanitize, and store utensils, tools, and equipment
-Assist with kitchen breakdown: wiping surfaces, sweeping, mopping
-Store leftovers safely and dispose of expired items
-Coordinate with other cooks and kitchen staff to keep service smooth
-Communicate with management about prep needs, issues, or customer requests
-Occasionally assist in training new staff or cross-training for stations

Education and Experience:
-Minimum of 2 years of experience cooking
-Hourly range listed but open to discussion based on experience and what you bring to the business.
