Req Number 120563The schedule for this position is 4 days week and 10 hour shifts with holiday and weekend requirementsJob DescriptionPlans and delivers professional infusion therapy to patients.Job Responsibility

Provides intravenous infusions, transfusions, or venipuncture care to patients under the direction of a physician.

Places, monitors, and maintains IVs or catheters for the purposes of delivering antibiotics, parenteral nutrition, or other medications or therapeutic treatments as directed.

Documents patient condition, vital statistics, diagnosis, and prescribed treatments.

Performs related duties as required. All responsibilities noted here are considered essential functions of the job under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Duties not mentioned here, but considered related are not essential functions.

Job Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required.

Current License to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State required, plus specialized certifications as needed.

5-7 years of technical experience and 0-2 years of leadership / management experience, required.
