Easton Mountain, a not-for profit retreat center in Greenwich NY, is seeking someone to join our team as a Kitchen Manager. They will play a crucial role in supporting events by overseeing all areas of kitchen operation and meal delivery. They will also inspire and build a team to deliver healthy, delicious meals on a budget, embodying a spirit of hospitality and welcome.
The ideal candidate will have experience and familiarity with retreat center dining and special events. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead and inspire a team are important. Responsibilities include managing staff, overseeing food preparation, maintaining inventory, adapting to dietary needs, collaborating on diverse menus, promoting sustainable and safe kitchen practices, and creating a welcoming environment for a blended team of staff and volunteers. Salary and benefits will be negotiated based on experience. Transitional or seasonal housing is available to be negotiated as well.
