About this position: Responsible for supervising team, assisting, and supporting management through project coordination, work review, and work organization to achieve optimum efficiencies in time and resources within department. Lead efforts designed to meet department and Company goals as identified by management team. Effectively collaborates with other departments as needed to understand impacts and ensure efficiencies. This position is 100% in the office in Glens Falls, New York. Responsibilities

Assist management in defining roles and responsibilities of team members; manage, coach, counsel team to meet department goals and achieve performance standards; encourage continuous improvement and career development.

Collaborate with management team on formulation and implementing strategies and processes to increase efficiencies, improve customer service, create, and achieve department procedures and goals.

Oversee daily department operations, supporting strategic plan; day-to-day operations, projects, and special assignments.

Assist with the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) program, as well as working with other internal/external auditors supporting internal controls mitigating company risks.

Assist Manager to optimize departmental practices; identify/collaborate with other departments and key stakeholders to understand impact from projects and resolve issues to achieve optimal implementation outcome.

Research, propose, and implement changes necessary to stay current with regulatory requirements and compliance directives. Remain current on regulatory changes/guidance applicable to Deposit Services including REG E and NACHA rules.

Assist Manager to provide quality control review of designated work; ensure timely and accurate reporting.

Facilitate customer escalation calls and situations to ensure resolution and customer satisfaction.

Associate degree or equivalent experience in banking

4 years of banking experience preferred

1 year of supervisory experience preferred

Skills/Knowledge:

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint; knowledge of banking related software a plus

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; demonstrated ability to interact confidently and professionally with employees, management, customers and other stakeholders

Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet strict deadlines with attention to detail skills

Proven organizational, project management, analytical, research, and problem-solving skills

Extensive knowledge of banking rules and regulations pertaining to deposit accounts with emphasis on Regulation E and NACHA rules.

Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member; initiative and follow-through key.

Physical Demands

Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time and walk/stand for brief periods of time.

Must be able to repetitively use a telephone and computer mouse and keyboard.
