Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the company's SQF system, ensuring compliance with all SQF standards.
Conduct routine audits, inspections, and monitoring of production processes to ensure adherence to food safety and quality requirements.
Develop, update, and maintain all necessary documentation for the SQF certification process, including policies, procedures, and records.
Train staff on SQF requirements, food safety standards, and proper production practices.
Collaborate with the production and operations teams to identify and address quality issues, ensuring continuous improvement.
Investigate and resolve food safety or quality issues, including non-conformances, customer complaints, and corrective actions.
Conduct regular product testing and verification of compliance with quality standards.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory agencies (FDA, USDA, etc.) and company-specific quality and safety policies.
Work closely with suppliers to ensure raw materials meet quality standards and assist in supplier audits as needed.
Prepare and lead external audits and inspections related to food safety and SQF certification.
