A well-established and popular fast food restaurant in upstate New York (southern Tier) is looking for an assistant general manager. You will be part of a growing organization, where your role could grow as you demonstrate your capability.
ROLE SUMMARY

Your daily responsibilities will include:
Ensuring compliance with company standards
Team management: including problem solving, training, etc.
Customer relations: ensuring 100% customer satisfaction at all times, with a zero tolerance policy for complaints
Aiding in restaurant maintenance and repair
Aiding in inventory management
Financial accountability: including appropriate cost controls and profit management
Ensuring OSHA, local health and safety codes, and company safety and security policies are met
Responsible for overall success of the restaurant at any cost

Holds team accountable by using the performance management process
Recognize employees for exceptional performance in conjunction with RGM
Demonstrates belief in all people through strong execution of recruiting, selection, development, and retention
Partners with their management team to ensure effective execution of training throughout their restaurant
Other Requirements:
Arrive at work on time with flexible scheduling throughout restaurant hours
Follows procedures regarding operation of restaurant equipment (including fryers, ovens, etc.)
Willingness to be flexible and commit to success of the restaurant at any cost necessary attitude
Support the RGM in normal management tasks as required
Regular access to personal vehicle
Able to lift up to 25 lbs and carry up to 30 feet Able to push/pull up to 90 lbs up to 30 feet
Able to stand and walk for a majority of work shift
Follows company cash handling safety and security procedures
Adheres to company and City/State/United States safety requirements
Knowledge of and compliance with companys Human Resources policies and processes
Basic business math and accounting skills, and strong analytical/decision-making skills
Basic personal computer literacy
High School Diploma or GED required. College or university Degree Preferred
Few years supervisory experience in either a food service or retail environment, including Profit & Loss responsibility
