Description We are in search of a skilled Controller to join our team in CHEEKTOWAGA, New York. This role is primarily tasked with managing and overseeing all daily accounting functions in our organization. The Controller will also have a significant role in preparing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts, enabling the company to make data-driven business decisions. Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). Prepare detailed financial statements to provide insights into the company's financial status. Develop and maintain budgets to support the company's financial goals. Generate forecasts to assist in future planning and decision-making processes. Produce various financial reports to provide accurate and timely information to stakeholders. Utilize ADP - Financial Services to automate, integrate, and streamline financial processes. Perform auditing tasks to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data. Oversee the budgeting processes, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives. Implement and manage accounting functions, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally to maintain high customer satisfaction levels. Requirements Must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in a Controller role or a similar financial management position Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services is necessary Strong knowledge of Accounting Functions is required Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential Auditing skills are highly desired Must be well-versed in Budget Processes A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is expected Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential Proficiency in using financial software and databases is required Strong analytical and strategic planning skills are needed Must have a strong understanding of business and financial regulations and laws Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive financial information is essential Must be able to work in a team and foster a positive work environment Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills are needed Must have excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
