We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team in Shokan, New York on Wednesdays and Thursdays 9-5. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to perform dental cleanings and assist the dentist in various procedures. Responsibilities: - Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, and polishing - Take dental x-rays - Conduct oral cancer screenings - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for at-home care - Administer local anesthesia as needed - Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and maintaining a sterile field - Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes - Stay up-to-date with current dental practices and advancements in the field.
