What You’ll Do
As a Gas and Diesel Mechanic, your responsibilities include:
Performing preventive maintenance (PMs), safety inspections, and annual DOT maintenance inspections.
Diagnosing and repairing vehicle systems, including brakes, suspensions, drivetrains, and transmissions.
Completing work orders accurately and efficiently.
Assisting with mobile emergency services.
Maintaining and repairing Ford Transits, Chevy Suburbans, Chevy Express vans, Freightliner C2 & International conventional school buses.
What We’re Looking For
License: A valid driver’s license is required, with a willingness to obtain a CDL while employed (we provide training!).
Experience: At least 5 years of automotive or diesel maintenance and repair experience or equivalent technical school education.
Tools: Possess a mechanic’s tool set.
Growth-Oriented: A willingness to participate in the ASE certification program (training, testing, and bonuses provided).
DOT Compliance: This is a safety-sensitive position subject to DOT drug testing. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 prohibits the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason.
