LEAD MECHANIC
Oversee and manage the daily operations of the mechanical service department.
Schedule and assign work to service technicians.
Work directly with the service technicians to guide them through the process of repairing and servicing the equipment.
Strong diagnostic skills, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Excellent Communication and able to take direction from Supervisor.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Accurately complete daily work orders / paperwork
Maintain shop equipment.
Maintain a neat, orderly, well organized service department.
Perform quality control and sign off on every job before it leaves the shop.
Ensure that all job paperwork is properly handled, that time on job is accurately tracked, and that parts and equipment used are accounted for.
