Position: PARTS SHIPPING & RECEIVING CLERKDate Opening: IMMEDIATELYLocation: TOWNE FORDShift: Monday – Friday 7:30am – 4:30pm Occasional Saturday, as needed$18 - $20/HRS&R RESPONSIBILITIESTo assist the department by overseeing shipping and receiving processes.Assist with loading and unloading of freightCheck and verify parts - incoming shipments (against packing slips)Post orders in computer systemPrepare and ship outgoing shipments (complete bill of ladings)Ship damaged and warranty parts back to the mfg(s).Stock shelves – put inventory awayDesign parts area for new inventoryLabel Parts BinsKeep Parts Bins Clean and organizedAssist in watching for damaged parts and part number changesAssist with department cleanlinessShovel, salt, sweep and pick up the rear entrance as neededAssist with general errands to maintain operations of the dealershipREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.Knowledge of Automotive parts, terminologyBasic computer knowledge (CDK a plus) and keyboarding skillsOrganized and Excellent Follow ThroughMust be Punctual and Dependable§Valid and Clean NYS Driver’s LicensePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Automotive Experience helpfulForklift Operator ExperienceEDUCATION OR TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:High School Graduate or GED Please apply online with Towne Automotive at: https://towneautocareers.prismhr-hire.com/job/936737/shipping-and-receiving-clerk-benefits?s=cl
