We are seeking a Data Analyst Intern to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a passion for data analysis and coding, particularly in the biomedical engineering or computer science fields.

Responsibilities:

Analyze and interpret complex datasets to provide actionable insights for marketing campaigns.

Use programming skills to build, automate, and improve data analysis workflows.

Apply data science techniques to uncover trends and patterns relevant to the medical device and biotechnology industries.

Collaborate with the team to deploy and leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) for marketing and analysis purposes.

Support data visualization and reporting using tools such as Python, Excel, and (ideally) JavaScript.

Assist with light web development tasks (no design work required).

Maintain clear and accurate documentation of data processes and findings.

Requirements:

Education: Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Python for data analysis and automation.

Knowledge of JavaScript and basic web development.

Expertise in Microsoft Excel.

Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) and their deployment.

Work Samples: Ability to provide examples of relevant data analysis or programming projects.

Other: Must reside in or near the Binghamton, NY area for occasional in-person work.

Preferred Qualifications:

Background or coursework in biomedical engineering-related fields.

Experience with AI applications in healthcare or marketing.

Location: Fully remote, with occasional in-person meetings in the Binghamton area.

Compensation: Paid hourly internship.
