Installation of landscaping including, but not limited to:

Planting, edging, pruning, mulching, lawn installations

Grading and drainage installations

Undergo professional landscape installation training as necessary

Hillside Garden Landscaping is seeking an experienced, professional Landscape Crew Members. If you have worked in the industry previously as a landscape crew member, technician or similar, a firm knowledge of proper planting practices and/or knowledge of hardscape installations, or the willingness to learn any of the above, this would be an exciting position for you.

Job Description:

This position reports to the Landscape Team Leader (Foreman) performing landscape installation projects. The job includes the safe and professional use of equipment and handling of materials to ensure completion of work within budget, safety guidelines and quality standards.

Minimum Qualifications & Educational Requirements:

Degree in Landscape Construction OR minimum 2 years directly relevant experience

ICPI certification is a plus, but not necessary

Knowledge and experience in customer service

Experience using skid steers and mini-excavators not necessary, but a plus

Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and work in bending and standing positions daily.

Must be able to work outside in adverse weather

Current driver's license with clean driving history

Pivotal Duties:

Work directly with Landscape Team Leader (Foreman) regarding installation of landscaping and hardscaping including, but not limited to:

Planting, edging, pruning, mulching, lawn installations

Grading and drainage installations

Undergo professional landscape installation training as necessary

Equipment/Machinery Used:

Bobcats and mini-excavators (if qualified)

Power equipment: sod cutter, rototiller, stump grinders, chain saw, hedge pruners/brush trimmers, cut off saws, grinders, plate compactors, laser level (as qualified)

Hand tools: shovels, rakes, axes, maddox, chisels and other hand tools associated with the landscape industry

Job Type: Full-time Seasonal
