Gutter Installation Assistant
Location: In-person in Broome County and surrounding areas
Employment Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on experience
Schedule: Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays as needed
Position Overview:
We're looking for a Gutter Installation Assistant to support experienced installers by helping with tasks like measuring, cutting, and securing gutters, as well as interacting with customers. You will work under the guidance of a lead installer and are responsible for tasks such as material handling (including transporting materials to the site), site preparation, cleaning up after the job, and ensuring all tools and equipment are properly maintained.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of construction tools and equipment.
Physically able and comfortable climbing roofs safely.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
0-2 years of experience in a similar role.
A positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential.
Previous experience in construction or roofing along with gutter installation and maintenance is preferred.
Valid clean driver’s license is preferred, but not necessary as long as you have transportation to job sites and JKS Headquarters/Office
Spanish language skills are a plus but not required.
