CheckPlus Handyman is a growing, locally-owned business that’s raising the bar in the home repair industry. We’re looking for a reliable, skilled, and professional handyman to join our team on a part-time basis, with full-time opportunity down the line IF interested.
If you’re semi-retired, winding down from a career in construction or trades, and still enjoy working with your hands—this could be the perfect fit. We specialize in small to midsize jobs that can typically be completed in a day or less. Our clients are busy homeowners who appreciate high-quality work, clear communication, and a respectful presence in their home.
Who we’re looking for:
15+ years of experience in residential repairs, remodeling, or construction
Someone mature, presentable, and punctual
Excellent communication and follow-through
Able to work independently but also with others when necessary
Strong sense of responsibility and pride in workmanship
Project management or client-facing experience is a plus
We handle the marketing, estimates, client communication, scheduling, and billing—you just show up, do great work, and get paid above industry average for your time. You also have complete control of your schedule week over week in terms of what days you want jobs scheduled.
