Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor-Food Manufacturer
MUST HAVE 3-5 years of stand-up forklift experience
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily operations at our warehouse. This position is responsible for managing staff, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of goods, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving, storing, inventory, and shipping.
Lead, train, and evaluate warehouse staff to ensure productivity and compliance with safety standards.
Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy.
Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and clean working environment.
Schedule and oversee maintenance and repairs of warehouse equipment.
Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and other departments to optimize operations.
Prepare reports on warehouse performance, stock levels, and productivity.
Address and resolve any issues related to warehouse operations and employee concerns.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
Proven experience (3+ years) in warehouse supervision or logistics.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to lift heavy objects and operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts (certification may be required).
Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and practices.
Working Conditions:
This is a hands-on supervisory role that requires time spent on the warehouse floor.
May involve long hours or weekend work depending on operational needs.
Compensation: $25-$30 per hour
