Job Summary
We're seeking an exceptionally skilled and experienced Senior Handyman/Supervisor to oversee our residential construction and maintenance operations.
Responsibilities
Hands-on Responsibilities
- Perform complex maintenance and repairs, including:
- Carpentry (framing, finishing, cabinets)
- Plumbing (fixtures, pipes, water heaters)
- Electrical (wiring, outlets, lighting)
- HVAC (heating, ventilation, air conditioning)
- Roofing (shingles, flashing, gutters)
- Conduct inspections to identify maintenance needs
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor junior handymen and maintenance staff
- Assign tasks, monitor progress, and evaluate performance
- Conduct training sessions on safety protocols and equipment operation
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in residential construction and maintenance
- 5+ years of supervisory experience
- Valid driver's license , reliable transportation and necessary tools
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with project management software and construction management systems
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations
