Liberty Farms is a 600-acre Certified Organic Farm located in Ghent, NY. We raise an array of livestock, produce and flowers. We are looking for an experienced, motivated individual to join our team. Job duties include daily care of livestock, feeding, watering, vetting, breeding. Must be able to perform general equipment maintenance, general farm chores and upkeep, fence repair and assist in hay production. Must have good communication skills, organization, and pay attention to detail. Ability to keep thorough livestock records a must.
This is a full-time, year-round position. Must be able to work independently and as a team. A valid driver’s license, ability to operate a tractor, and ability to lift 50# is a necessity.
