Summary : A Driver's main responsibility is to safely transport passengers from one location to another. They must follow traffic laws and correctly route themselves, ensuring that all trips are properly and timely executed in line with Tresco’s expectations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: A: Job Specific:
Perform regular safety checks on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition before and after each trip.
Transport passengers to designated locations safely and on time.
Plan and follow the best route to ensure timely delivery of passengers.
Drivers will be responsible for performing basic maintenance on their vehicle, such as checking the oil and tires, and ensuring that the vehicle is in good working order.
Report any incidents or accidents to the management immediately.
Drive vehicles in accordance with traffic regulations and observe traffic lights, other vehicles, and pedestrians on the street to avoid accidents.
Keep the exterior and interior of vehicle clean and presentable.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Good knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and city routes
Excellent driving skills and the ability to navigate unknown routes fluently.
Able to adapt to changing schedules or routines.
Good verbal communication skills
Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Excellent time-management skills
Flexibility in working hours - the ability to work during weekends, holidays and evenings may be required.
Positive attitude and professional demeanor.
Ability to work in all weather conditions.
Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 1. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record with 3 years of driving experience
Other (e.g., post-offer drug screen, background check, driver’s license record, etc.) . All employees must undergo a driver’s license record check; employees must pass a background check.
Day's & Hours: Monday-Friday available between 7am-6 pm, Flexible to work weekends and holidays as needed
Rate of Pay: $15.00-$18.00 /Hr.
