Fine Art Framers Inc. is a professional picture framing company serving museums, galleries, businesses, artists, and the greater Santa Fe arts community in Northern New Mexico.
We are currently searching for an experienced Picture Frame for part time to assemble the artwork and other constituent parts into the finished frames and customer service 24 - 32 hours per week.
Work hours are 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday and 9:30 am - 4 pm Saturday so there is some flexibility to accommodate ones life schedule
Prospects must have customer service skills and designing skills from working directly with clients and designing framing. Prospects must have knowledge of various art mediums used for works on paper and paintings on canvas. Prospects must know how to properly handle art. Knowledge of hand cutting mats is gold. Knowledge of fabric mounting for mats and liners is gold. Ability to cut fillits for mats is gold. The ability to designing with clients is platinum.
Wood Room experience cutting and joining and finishing picture frames is helpful , but we are hiring primarily to fill the position for the final assembly of art work and customer service.
