Santa Fe Dry Goods has been in business on the Plaza for 26 years, and Workshop has been open and actively growing for five. We also have a sister store, Wild Life, located next door and an expanding website. That being said, the business has become multi-faceted, dynamic and ever-changing. The position will work as an Inventory Specialist for all 4 of our business units and directly with our Lead Inventory Specialist with receiving merchandise and entering it into our database and POS system.
Responsibilities:
-Understand Our "Supply Chain" in all its complexity
-Handling the receiving of merchandise; unpacking, sensoring merchandise, steaming, hanging
-Pricing merchandise and understanding global currency conversion
-Availability to help in other areas around the company
-Maintaining and updating inventory
-Reporting any inventory errors or issues to management
Requirements:
-Knowledge of clothing industry
-A passion for the fashion world is preferred
-Solid knowledge of logistics procedures
-Ability to lift 40 pounds without restriction
-Excellent clerical skills
-Experience working with numbers
-Excellent organizational and communication skills
-Attention to detail
-Problem-solving abilities
-High school diploma; BA or higher preferred
