Old Wood LLC, a leader in sustainable wood products manufacturing, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to join our team. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is a strong communicator, and has a proactive approach to office administration, human resources, and bookkeeping. Come join our growing, 25+ member team, as together we produce some of the finest wood products for private and commercial use nationwide.

Please note that this is an in-office role only, based out of beautiful Las Vegas, NM. No remote work will be considered or allowed except under special circumstances.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily office operations and administrative tasks

Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general bookkeeping in QuickBooks

Prepare and process payroll

Assist with budgeting and financial reporting

Maintain employee records and assist with HR-related duties, including onboarding, offboarding, and disciplinary actions

Support purchasing, inventory, and vendor communications

Provide administrative support to management as needed. This is not an executive assistant position; however ownership may request assistance on occasion.

Foster a positive, organized, and efficient office environment

Client interaction and the communication and management of walk-in customers, vendors, and community members. This is not a sales position, however, some ancillary sales responsibilities will be required.

Manage and oversee the receipt and shipment of all samples, e-commerce goods, parts, and supplies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proficiency and experience with QuickBooks or another similar bookkeeping software

Payroll management experience

Strong organizational skills. A preferred applicant would show physical organization and cleanliness in an office environment.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Attention to detail and the ability to multitask

Previous experience in an office management or administrative role

Experience with Apple operating systems.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

Excel experience is preferred.

Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) is preferred.
