Ranch and farm Hand wanted
Full time – week days and some week-ends as needed / rural Colfax county NM location
We are a small functioning farm and ranch
Must have a valid driver’s license
MUST be reliable and self-motivated with a keen eye for detail. Able to follow and carry out directions as well as anticipate feed, maintenance and repair needs. What you don’t know can be taught if you ‘re willing and responsible.
Your general mechanical or handy man/ women skills are desirable. You should have the manual dexterity and physical stamina necessary for this work.
In this position, you will be preforming a wide variety of activities such as repairs, cleaning, hauling, running skid steer, back hoe, tractor.
Farming help with tilling, planting and harvest.
Ranch help will include mending fencing, pivot and flood irrigation, livestock watering, feeding, calving checking on livestock, moving and hauling of livestock (horsemanship skills preferred)
Housing is available if / as needed
Pay DOE … may include 3 BR / 2 BA mobile home housing / Space for your horse and (vetted dog) included, ranch truck use included for ranch related work. (you are responsible for utilities)
No drugs or excessive use of alcohol.
