SANTACAFE, opened in 1982 continues to be one of Santa Fe’s Iconic Restaurants. Known for One of the prettiest outdoor patios in the city, we are seeking a highly motivated individual to join the front of the house management family. Suitable candidates will have a strong work ethic and an instinct for providing warm and inviting service. All applicants should be passionate about food, wine and hospitality. The position requires an enthusiastic and energetic individual that works well under pressure with grace, professionalism and focus.

This particular position is a combination of both lunch services as well as dinner. Lunch Hours will be 10am-3pm as you serve on a gorgeous outdoor patio with the water fountain, birds chirping and Sinatra in the background. Ita w Who’s Who power lunch and it can be extremely busy. Dinner Service is more formal focusing on leading a team up to 20 front of house individuals per shift. Fine Wine, Craft Cocktails and a beautiful modern American menu from executive chef Dale Kester.

You will find few independently owned restaurants with the same values, respect and culture for our staff. Independently and locally owned. Sister Restaurant to Coyote Café.

Duties

Assist in managing daily operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company policies.

Train and develop team members to enhance their skills and improve performance.

Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new team members.

Maintain effective phone etiquette when communicating with customers and vendors.

Collaborate with the management team to achieve business objectives and enhance overall store performance.

Qualifications

Excellent communication skills with a focus on phone etiquette.

Ability to train and develop staff effectively.

Proficient in using Point of Sale (POS) systems for transactions and reporting.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing stock levels and pricing.

A positive attitude with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $47,500.00 - $60,000.00 per year
