Historic drinking chocolate elixirs include traditional Pre-Columbian, Mesoamerican, Mayan and Aztec drinking chocolate elixirs; 1600's European drinking chocolate elixirs, Colonial American and Colonial Mexican drinking chocolate elixirs. Kakawa Chocolate House drinking chocolate elixirs are representative of these historic recipes and span the time period 1000 BC to the mid-1900s AD. Kakawa supports local organic farming, promotes the history and anthropology of chocolate, and, most importantly, produces a huge variety of delicious chocolate creations of the highest quality. Kakawa Chocolate House in Santa Fe, NM is looking for one front of house manager to join our 39 person strong team. We are located on 1050 Paseo De Peralta. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and engaged.BenefitsWe offer many great benefits, including free early access to your pay through Homebase.ResponsibilitiesManagement of the day to day functions of the Front of House team in a lead by example ethic with a focus on customer service, retail presentation and sales success. Maintain POS systems and responsibility for financial, security, labor policies and procedures, weekly schedule preparation, posting and coordination with BOH for complete store schedule to secure seamless service and coverage. Hiring, education and training of new employees and continuing education of existing employees to maintain our highest standards of knowledge and customer service/experience. Ensure all areas meet the highest cleanliness standards and code requirements. FOH inventory and order coordination.QualificationsWorking history of excellent and friendly customer service. Strong communication skills with the ability to manage and motivate team. High School diploma or GED and solid math skills. Successful previous management experience. 1 year minimum. Ideal candidate is a self starter, reliable and detail oriented.
