Combine your passion for helathy, locally grown, artisanal food with your talent for direct-to-consumer sales. Camino de Paz needs a customer sales and service person to manage farmers market sales, wholesale and online deliveries and coordinate with the rest of our amazing and hard-working staff.
We’re looking for a sharp, energetic, congenial, and enthusiastic individual. Marketing tasks include:
1. Managing our farm stand at the Albuquerque Downtown Growers’ Market on Saturday mornings, beginning immediately. We
offer our buyers a diversity of:
dairy products (soft, aged and ripened cheeses, yogurts, milk),
bakery items (breads, bagels, pastries),
processed foods (jam, pesto, preserved foods) and
organic produce.
Job requires driving from our farm in Santa Cruz to Albuquerque, setting up the stand, managing sales from 8:00 am to noon, packing up unsold items and returning to the farm.
2. Assist in post-market reconciliation and re-supply (back at the farm).
3. Doing wholesale deliveries in Albuquerque and Santa Fe retail stores, including stocking shelves.
4. Delivering online orders to three direct sales points during the week.
5. Support administrative and online buyers coordination.
You must have a spotless drivers’ license, be over 25 (for insurance purposes), be organized, pay attention to detail and sanitation practices, be able to integrate with the rest of the staff (farmers, bakers, cheese makers, etc.) and enjoy working as a team. Your training begins at our Santa Fe Farmers Market stand on Saturdays.
