Master Control Operator

The Network Control team is a small but crucial group of technical operations specialists. Working closely with Studio, NPC, and other internal departments, it manages the coordination and technical supervision of live signal transmissions, from breaking news and live crosses to major sporting events. No two days are the same in this high-energy, live environment.As a Master Control Operator, you’ll ensure the seamless operation of the Network Control Room, delivering high-quality signal transmission services to support Nine’s programming and productions.Day to day you will: Operate broadcast equipment and manage complex signal routing in a live environmentSupport internal and external productions, studios, and outside broadcastsExecute scheduled and ad hoc bookings for signal transmissionDeliver technically accurate, error-free vision and audio signalsContribute to the smooth day-to-day functioning of the control roomRespond to breaking news and live event needs with agility and professionalismWork effectively in a shift-based team environment
