Main Responsibilities:
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
Ensure all transactions are recorded accurately by maintaining and updating the general ledger
Accurately process and reconcile payables invoices
Prepare bank reconciliations and verify account balances
Oversee and reconcile intercompany transactions and account balances to guarantee accurate and timely posting of entries
Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
Support the preparation of budgets and measure performance against them
Prepare financial forecasts and ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and external regulations
Prepare tax forms for review by the Controller
Assist in process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the accounting department
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related.
1-4 years of related accounting experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, lookups, etc.) and ERP systems
