Job description
We are seeking a reliable one-day-a-week Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently between warehouses in Albuquerque and El Paso once a week on Wednesdays beginning at 630 am and finishing at about 330 pm. This role requires safe driving habits, on time dependability, and a pleasant personality to our customers. It is a very simple route with only 1 stop in each city, so extensive delivery experience is not necessary.
Duties and Qualifications
Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or similar role is helpful, but not necessary.
Familiarity with simple GPS navigation tools.
Excellent communication skills for using your cell phone for calls, text, and emails at each stop is necessary.
Have a friendly disposition towards our customers.
Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 60 pounds) associated with loading/unloading.
Valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record is mandatory.
Must be over the age of 21 for insurance purposes.
100% dependability for attendance and being on time is necessary, this is a scheduled route every Wednesday.
