We are looking for a talented and reliable Bench Jeweler to join our team. This role is primarily focused on performing skilled jewelry repairs and custom work with a strong attention to detail and quality. Experience with watch repair is a plus, but not required. We value craftsmanship, consistency, and pride in your work.
Primary – Bench Jeweler Duties:
Perform a wide variety of jewelry repairs including:
Ring sizing (up/down)
Stone setting and tightening
Prong re-tipping and re-building
Chain and clasp repairs
Soldering and laser welding
Polishing and rhodium plating
Conduct quality control checks and ensure all repairs meet company and industry standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Communicate effectively with staff regarding repair times, materials needed, and any repair issues.
Assist with custom work including fabrication, restoration, and modifications when needed.
Secondary – Watchmaking (If Applicable):
Perform basic to advanced watch services including:
Battery replacements and pressure testing
Band adjustments and crystal replacements
Full servicing of mechanical and quartz movements (if qualified)
Help evaluate and diagnose timepieces for service estimates.
Qualifications:
3+ years of hands-on experience as a bench jeweler in a professional setting.
Strong proficiency with gold, platinum, silver, and gemstone work.
Familiarity with all standard jeweler tools and repair techniques.
High attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Preferred but Not Required:
Laser welding experience.
Watch repair knowledge or certification (AWCI, WOSTEP, CW21, etc.).
Experience with vintage or high-end jewelry pieces.
Ability to work on custom designs or fabrication projects.
