About the Role
As a Fiber Puller, you’ll play a critical role in shaping New Mexico’s communications infrastructure. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams—including Fiber Splicers, Engineering, and Horizontal Boring—to deliver world-class solutions that connect people and communities.
What You’ll Do
Pull fiber optic cable into designated hand holes
Read and follow construction blueprints and maps
Proof conduit for continuity before installation
Work as part of a team on fiber pulling crews
Install fiber terminals (FSTs) in designated hand holes
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 2 years of experience in construction
Basic computer skills (email, digital blueprints, etc.)
Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
Must have a working cell phone
Truck with hitch required (to haul trailer/equipment)
Must be Able to Lift 75LBS
