Eat First Chinese Restaurant, a renowned Chinese restaurant in Albuquerque, seeks enthusiastic and customer-oriented individuals to join our team as Waiters/Waitresses. Our ideal candidates are passionate about delivering exceptional dining experiences and possess a keen understanding of Chinese cuisine and culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a warm and welcoming manner
- Present menus and provide detailed information about dishes, including daily specials and dietary options
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, relay them to the kitchen, and ensure timely delivery to tables
- Offer recommendations based on guests' preferences and answer any questions about the menu
- Monitor tables and anticipate guests' needs, providing attentive and efficient service
- Handle guest complaints professionally and ensure a positive dining experience
- Process payments accurately, including cash, credit card, and mobile transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down the dining area
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Occasionally assisting with togo orders and taking phone orders
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality service
- Must be at least 18 years old
