Oversee MTC Trades and Non-Trades members of the workforce within the team.

Interface with technical line to support manufacturing and metrology requirements.

Interface with external supplier base to resolve manufacturing issues or concerns.

Contribute to the acquisition and development of staff resources, capabilities, and existing and future projects.

Be responsible for 1000+ items in calibration system and ensure recall cycle time if followed and answer OOT conditions.

Serve as an active contributor in the Mechanical Measurement apprenticeship program.

Due to the nature of the work, the selected applicant must be able to work onsite.Salary Range:$95,400 - $157,500Salary range is estimated, and actual salary will be determined after consideration of the selected candidate's experience and qualifications, and application of any approved geographic salary differential.Qualifications We Require:

Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline plus five or more years of directly related experience or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.

Extensive knowledge of the fabricate-to-print hardware procurement and manufacturing processes.

Extensive knowledge of metrology, practices, principles, and all technical aspects associate with measurement and calibration operations.

Broad understanding of metrology technology development and the ability to research new technology.

Solid background in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (ANSI Y14.5) and the ability to resolve drawing issues and tolerance interpretation.

Active DOE Q-level security clearance.

Qualifications We Desire:

Familiarity with employee and labor relations and collective bargaining agreements for represented employees.

Broad understanding of International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9000 or other applicable Quality Management Systems.

About Our Team:Manufacturing Liaison provides technical expertise and acts as liaison for mechanical and special process fabricate-to-print manufacturing performed by Sandia National Laboratory suppliers. The team works with external fabrication suppliers to deliver quality product on time and at the best possible price.Posting Duration:This posting will be open for application submissions for a minimum of seven (7) calendar days, including the ‘posting date’.
