Small family-owned construction company looking for experienced certified payroll Bookkeeper Full time. You would be responsible for a variety of Bookkeeping tasks and an essential part of the office. The company works in residential, commercial and public prevailing wage projects. Certified payroll is a "must have" experience in this position
Digital and paper filing
Payables and receivables + Autopay Auditing
Answering phones
Email Correspondence with vendors
Issue NTTC's
Standard Weekly Payroll
Monthly Certified Payroll & Pay Applications (AIA Billing Form)
Material lien waivers
Monthly Bank and credit card reconciliations.
Year end tax prep for the CPA
Submitting State Tax
Simple IRA weekly submissions
Builders Trust Workers Comp + Audits
Annual Insurance Audits, Workers Comp, Liability etc
Auditing the books monthly and as needed
Navajo Nation tax filing quarterly
Progress Billing
Time and Material billing (not a primary function but, backup)
Experience
Quick books online
All office programs such as word, excel and outlook and adobe
Have worked in a construction office setting for at least 1 year
Windows proficient
Google Calendar
Be adaptable to new accounting software
