1.Recording transactions: Recording a business's day-to-day financial transactions, such as purchases, sales, and expenses
2.Posting transactions: Posting transactions to accounts, such as debits and credits
3.Reconciling accounts: Comparing a company's records with its bank statements to ensure that the balances match
4.Preparing financial statements: Preparing balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements
5.Generating invoices and receipts: Creating invoices and receipts for customers
6.Completing payroll: Processing payroll for employees
7.Assisting with budget planning: Helping to plan and forecast a business's budget
8.Identifying irregularities: Monitoring transactions and identifying any irregularities
