The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) assists residents in all aspects of their daily life as indicated in the resident service plan, including personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, activities, orientation, and information needs. This position requires tact, sensitivity, and professionalism due to the constant interaction with residents and families to guarantee their satisfaction.
Education: High School diploma (Springhouse); High School diploma or equivalent (Arden Courts/Linden Village); Must successfully complete the required Springhouse’s/Arden Courts’ training
Skills: Basic reading and writing skills, and ability to speak English in an understandable manner
Years of Experience: Knowledge and experience in working with elderly; Previous dementia experience preferred
License: Successful completion of State Approved Nursing Assistant Training and Competency Evaluation Program. Good standing in the state registry is required.
Certification: Other certification may be permitted in lieu of license according to state specific regulations
