We are seeking a highly motivated Director of Construction to oversee and manage our construction projects across various sectors. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving the successful execution of our development initiatives. Strategic Planning and Project Management: Lead and manage all aspects of construction projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.

Team Leadership and Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Project Coordination: Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to facilitate successful project delivery.

Construction Management: Provide strategic guidance and direction to project teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

Compliance Management: Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulatory compliance throughout all construction activities.

Project Oversight: Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.

Financial Management: Develop and manage budgets for construction projects, monitoring expenditures and cost control measures. Review and approve project cost estimates, change orders, and vendor contracts to ensure financial accuracy.

Stakeholder Communication: Prepare and present project status reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders.

Risk Management and Problem Solving: Identify potential risks and challenges in construction projects and develop strategies to mitigate them. Implement contingency plans to address unforeseen issues and minimize project disruptions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management / Civil Engineering or Architecture, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

Proven experience in development and construction management, particularly in the hospitality or real estate sector.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Strong troubleshooting skills, applicant must be able to determine the causes of complex problems.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
