Hey out there! My office is looking to hire a new receptionist, someone who is motivated, dedicated, and caringsomeone we and patients can count on. A person who can handle themselvesand others (!) in a busy medical practice. You will also need to work with insurance companies for medicine and procedure prior authorizations. We can train you on that, but having knowledge of health insurances is very helpful.
We will train you on our electronic medical records/scheduling system. Experience with a computer is essential.
MULTITASKING is key for our office. That means answering phones with patient questions and appointments, occasionally helping take patients to the exam rooms, and other front-office duties. Vacuuming and dusting the work area is occasionally needed too! If you're interested in learning to be a medical assistant, that can be discussed, but isn't necessary as our priority is finding a receptionist.
Hours are typically 8am to 4pm M-Thu; 8am-1pm FridayNEGOTIABLE (our previous receptionist didn't work Fridays)
Spanish-speaking ability isn't necessary, but is nice. Experience is a real benefit.
You'll receive the full benefits of an established and busy solo dermatology practice with a "Top Doc".
If you are interested please email us WITH A RESUMÉ or if you know someone who might be interested, we'd appreciate you letting them know.
Thanks!
