The Workers’ Compensation Paralegal will provide comprehensive legal support to attorneys handling workers' compensation cases. This role involves managing case files, preparing legal documents, communicating with clients, insurance carriers, and medical providers, and ensuring timely and accurate filing of claims and court documents. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience with workers’ compensation procedures and terminology.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft and file workers’ compensation pleadings, motions, and correspondence
Maintain and organize case files from intake through resolution
Schedule depositions, medical evaluations, and hearings
Gather and summarize medical records, employment records, and other evidence
Monitor deadlines and ensure compliance with court and agency timelines
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, medical providers, and insurance adjusters
Assist attorneys in trial and hearing preparation
