We specialize in professional unpacking services, helping clients transition smoothly into their new homes and offices. Our team ensures that belongings are unpacked, organized, and placed efficiently, creating an stress-free moving experience.
To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:
Experience & Skills
- Prior experience in moving, unpacking, or home/office organization is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to categorize, sort, and neatly arrange items.
- Basic understanding of household goods and how to handle them safely (e.g., glassware, electronics, décor, etc.).
- Ability to read and follow client instructions and layout preferences.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds unassisted.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and under deadlines.
Reliability & Transportation
- Must have dependable transportation to and from job sites (public or personal).
- Willingness to travel within the service area as needed (mileage may be reimbursed for long distances).
- Team members may be required to transport and dispose of empty moving boxes, packing paper, and other recyclable materials at an approved recycling facility or designated drop-off site.
- Punctuality and professionalism are a must—team members must consistently arrive on time.
Professionalism & Client Service
- Excellent customer service skills—friendly, respectful, and courteous to clients at all times.
- Comfortable working in private homes and professional office spaces, respecting privacy and property.
- Must maintain a clean and professional appearance; uniform or dress code compliance may be required.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
Communication & Conduct
- Clear and respectful verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions precisely.
- Ability to ask questions and seek clarification when needed to avoid errors.
Trustworthiness & Screening
-Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Demonstrated history of honesty, accountability, and responsibility in previous roles.
Flexibility & Scheduling
- Flexibility to work weekday and occasional weekend shifts, depending on client needs.
- Willingness to accept assignments with short notice as part of a growing startup team.
- Must be adaptable to different types of homes, layouts, and client preferences.
