Job Title: Experienced Cook
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced cook to join our team at Vero Pizzeria by Antimo Lamberti. As a vital member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of Italian cuisine dishes, including - sandwiches, dinners, and other menu items. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and be familiar with Italian culinary techniques and flavors. If you have a strong work ethic, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have a knack for creating delicious dishes, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of Italian cuisine dishes according to recipes and standards.
- Operate kitchen equipment, including but not limited to, fryers, ovens, grills, and slicers.
- Prep work
- Ensure food quality and presentation meets our high standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient workflow and timely food service.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a cook, preferably in an Italian restaurant or pizzeria setting.
- Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine and cooking techniques.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality food.
- Ability to work Tuesday-Sunday (closed Mondays)
